Stop Stressing About Stress
Manage Your Stress Instead and Make It Work FOR You!
Although our year has "higher stress periods" like holidays and exam time, stress has become too much of a fixture in many of our lives ALL year long! And at very high levels, it is literally killing us or making us sick!
We all need to manage our stress better. Stress management and stress reduction are useful tools in the modern age.
But did you know that stress can be a good thing?
And be a motivating force?
We seem to think of stress as a "bad" thing and so want to get away from it. But stress is part of being a human, and we need some stress to motivate us.
The trick is to manage your stress and reduce your stress to a good motivational level.
Then we are managing that stress and using it to our advantage.
In this course, you will learn about stress [the good, bad and neutral aspects] and also look at stress in different parts of our life cycle.
You will also learn about some tried and true techniques to manage and reduce stress.
Throughout the course, I use Keynote, graphics, movie clips and my sense of humor [and NY accent] to get you to learn how to manage that stress and use it to your advantage.
Even though the course is not here yet, you might want to join our mailing list to stay in touch and find out when it is published. You can sign up below.
Over the course of my now long life, I gathered a Ph.D. in Psychology and a law degree [J.D.]
I practiced both professions in a variety of settings, including academia and private practice, on the east coast of the USA. I then moved west to Oregon and started into online life full time - writing, publishing, and course creating.
In all that I did, or now do, I work at helping others live their own best lives.
The courses you find here are the perfect outlets [for me] to put my expertise and experience "out there into the universe" for anyone - because - as I have learned in life - you never know who needs to, wants to, is willing to, or can learn something from what you have to say.
I've also had a many-decades interest in nutrition because I know it impacts every living thing - including people and pets. I'm not a nutritionist, but I mention this topic in most all I teach because it is that important!
